Description

The aramid fiber powder produced by Shenzhen Feige composite fiber Co., Ltd. is made of kevlar (PPTA) fibers. Through special processes, the fibers are cut short, and then fibrillated, ground and screened to form a large surface area of powder, showing excellent adsorption performance, and can be well combined with resin and filler.

Aramid fiber powder is yellow and has extremely high strength. Its weight-specific tensile strength is 6 times that of steel wire, 3 times that of glass fiber, and 2 times that of high-strength nylon industrial yarn. Its tensile modulus is 3 times that of steel wire, 2 times that of glass fiber, and 10 times that of high-strength Nylon industrial yarn.

This fiber powder has the following characteristics: low density, high tensile strength, high elastic modulus, excellent thermal stability (compared with other organic fibers), non-flammable, light weight, high strength, dimensional stability, low shrinkage, puncture resistance, cut resistance, high temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, excellent mechanical properties, flex resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance, and a small expansion coefficient.

Main performance indicators of aramid fiber powder:

Main performance indicators of aramid fiber powder

The main properties of aramid fiber powder include:

1. Low density

2. Insulating and non-conductive

3. Small coefficient of thermal expansion

4. High tensile strength

5. Low elongation, high modulus, and high breaking strength

6. High chemical resistance, resistant to strong acid and alkali environments

7. High temperature resistance and flame resistance; it does not melt or support combustion, only carbonizes

Aramid fiber powder has a wide range of application fields, including but not limited to:

Plastics industry: used in nylon 66, epoxy resin, etc.;

Rubber industry: used as a filler in rubber products such as transmission belts, V-belts, transmission gears, and tires;
